BORAJ is a musical project from Chile, founded in Santiago in December 2013 by Felipe Markmann, Nico Rosenberg and Francisco Ruiz-Tagle, created with the urge to turn emotions, experiences and travels into music. Formed by seven musicians, the band self-released their debut EP, "Cambiar de Aire", in may 2014, recorded mainly in Felipe's laptop.The band has been playing live for the last year and a half in Santiago's independent venue circuit, with a few performances in nearby city Valparaíso. BORAJ's live sound is a mixture of ambient/electronic, post-rock and folk, creating a unique blend between synths, deep bass, harmonic voices, curious rythms and acoustic instruments. Acompanied by theatrical resources, the band attempts to connect the listeners with nature, the sea, mountains and vast landscapes. La Costa EP is their latest album, released December 2015 through Parra Label (Sello Parra).The members of the band are:Felipe Markmann: Main Singer, Acoustic Guitar and Synths.
