He released his first track to the public in 2011, and was signed by leading Korean label Amoeba Culture the next year. Through collaborations, releases, and even creating a concert brand, Zion.T has worked hard to remain active since his public introduction. The public and the press have taken note: Zion. T won this year's Gaon Chart K-Pop Award for R&B Artist of the Year, and was also nominated for this year's R&B/Soul Song of the Year at the Korean Music Awards, an award that he won last year.
