Fairytale endings are more often than not consigned to childrens' books and cartoons in this day and age, but the story of Emil and Caroline Jonsson – two of the brains behind ViVii – brings a little magic back to reality.
March 2018 ViVii’s debut single “Siv (You and I)” and the story behind it charmed the world and in May came the debut EP ”Savant” with the unstoppable title track.
In September ViVii released ”Suckerpunch” which Guy Garvey of Elbow played on his BBC radio show and told the world he loved, the song also earned them their first #1 on HypeMachine.
The band have played Way Out West in their native Sweden as well as headlining London and Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn and appeared on festivals such as Reeperbahn, by:larm, London Calling and Eurosonic (both in Holland).
Being compared to Bon Iver, Lykke Li, Beach House, Lana Del Ray and ABBA might sound odd but listen and you will get it.
